A decade of product evolution
From a single startup app to a global POS provider. Our decade-long partnership with Just Eat POS (previously Practi) has been a journey of continuous product evolution. We started with an iOS pilot and helped scale it into the POS system for restaurants and retail locations across Europe, becoming part of the Just Eat Takeaway.com portfolio. The system manages millions of orders each month and helps restaurants run their operations with speed and clarity.

Scaling the POS system
Just Eat POS centres around fast, intuitive iOS and Android applications. We built an interface that keeps ordering and payment simple: a waiter enters an order on a tablet, and it is instantly transmitted to the kitchen printer or display.
Beyond optimizing payment operations, we designed Just Eat POS to stand out with workflow improvements, including a kitchen display system that enables staff to update order status with a single touch. It also supports phone ordering with caller recognition, instantly presenting regular customers’ typical orders and addresses, cutting processing time from minutes to seconds.
With our partner, we empower restaurants to take full ownership of their customer experience. To achieve this, we developed two critical components:
White-label application
Restaurants launch their own branded ordering website and accept online orders without third-party intermediaries.
Delivery management system
Managers and staff can oversee their in-house driver fleet, ensuring a consistent delivery experience from order to doorstep.

Integrations that solve real pain points
Integrations are essential for an all-in-one POS system, but their true value lies in solving everyday challenges for busy teams. Together with our partner, we identified the most common operational pain points and designed solutions that remove friction from the restaurant workflow.
Challenge 1: “Tablet farming” creates confusion
Each delivery platform provides its own tablet for processing orders, forcing staff to juggle multiple devices during peak hours.
Solution
We built a custom delivery integration that unifies all delivery orders inside the main POS application. Staff can manage every order from a single device, and menu updates automatically sync across all delivery platforms.
Challenge 02: Printer failures disrupt checkout
Printer malfunctions often occur at the worst time, slowing down the checkout process and increasing customer frustration.
Solution
We designed the system to automatically detect a failed printer and reroute each print job to a working one. This keeps the checkout process smooth and reduces stress for both staff and guests.
