For over a decade, Framna partnered with PostNord to design and develop the digital touchpoints that today define the everyday experience of sending and receiving post. Together, we transformed a system once built around paper slips, long codes and queues into an ecosystem of apps and services trusted by millions daily.

From postal tradition to digital innovation
A decade ago, parcel delivery across the Nordics still relied on analog routines that no longer matched the pace of modern life. Recipients often had limited visibility into where a parcel was, when it would arrive, or how to collect it.
Together with PostNord, we set out to change that, step by step building and designing a digital ecosystem that gave people clarity and control. This shift introduced features such as real-time tracking, secure pickups using digital ID or QR codes, and flexible delivery options tailored to users’ needs.
For businesses, new portals simplified preparing and managing shipments. For service points and terminals, we introduced apps that replaced legacy systems with faster, more intuitive tools. These apps reduced training time for staff, minimized errors, and cut costs by using rugged devices, Bluetooth printers, and integrated ID scanning. Together, these improvements streamlined handovers and surrounding processes, making daily operations smoother for staff and experiences better for receivers.
Alongside the products, we helped renew PostNord’s brand identity with design systems built for digital and accessibility. What started as a single ambition grew into an ecosystem that now defines how parcels move across the Nordics.

PostNord: Track & Send Parcels app
With users’ contact details linked to shipments, parcels now appear in the app automatically, no tracking codes required. Pickup is fast and secure with digital ID. Deliveries can be rerouted to home, service points, or lockers. Push notifications keep users informed, while QR codes and Bluetooth-enabled, battery-powered lockers make collection quick and simple. Integrated return flows close the loop so sending something back is just as easy as receiving it.
Over time, the app has expanded to include service point maps with opening hours, self-service label printing, digital stamps, smoother customs and VAT payments, and even an AR size guide to prevent surprises at pickup. Every feature was designed to remove friction in small but important moments. Today, the app is a trusted part of daily life for millions in the Nordics.
