Our Competence-Based Interviewing, aligned with the STAR (Situation, Task, Action, Result) approach, delves deep into your past experiences, focusing on how you have navigated challenges, resolved problems, and made impactful decisions.

 

The rationale behind this technique is grounded in scientific evidence, showing that understanding a candidate’s behavior and thought processes provides a deeper insight into their capabilities and potential. Our hiring process

At Framna Sweden, our interview process consists of a few different well-crafted steps, designed for us to mutually get to know each other. We employ various types of stages so that we don’t just evaluate one aspect. Instead, you get to showcase who you are in multiple stages, ensuring that we don’t get fixated on how you perform in a single scenario but rather on a comprehensive view of your skills and capabilities. Here is a detailed roadmap of the steps you can expect:

Step 1: the introduction interview

Your first step is usually an introductory meeting with our recruiter. This is where you will get a taste of the Framna culture and learn about our projects, partnerships, and the various paths for growth and development within our company. We are keen on understanding your professional background and aspirations, as well as sorting out practical details like notice periods.

 

Expect a warm, conversational atmosphere to set the tone. In some cases, we use Evali, a personality and logic test, to provide a foundation for our discussion, focusing more on who you are as a person and giving every candidate a fair chance, free from bias. This introduction includes both soft skills and competency-based interview questions to gauge your personal fit and individuality.

Step 2: the competence area interview

Next, we would like to go deeper into your previous experience and competencies. You might find yourself discussing your craft with fellow engineers or presenting your creative portfolio if you are in design. This stage is all about how your unique skills and experiences align with the positions we have here at Framna, as well as the specific challenges within your field. Step 3: the case interview

Having shone in the previous stage, you will engage in a case interview with potential future colleagues. This interactive session is designed to simulate real-life scenarios and tasks, offering both you and us a glimpse into your potential future role here at Framna. It is also an opportunity for mutual assessment and learning the team’s dynamics. This could be a coding assignment, designing some wireframes, testing an app, or any other activity related to the role you are applying for.

Step 4: understanding your past – reference check

We value a thorough understanding of your professional history. Hence, we conduct a comprehensive reference check, speaking with former colleagues, managers, and subordinates to paint a complete picture of your work style and collaborative approach.

Step 5: offer – decision time
