How to join Framna?

Thinking about joining Framna? Here’s what you can expect from our hiring process.

What we value

We build digital products with high standards - for both the work and how we work together.

This means:

Holding a high bar for product quality

Working closely across disciplines

Taking ownership of what we build

Building solutions that are simple, reliable, and built to last

What we look for in candidates

We work best with people who take responsibility for what they build, collaborate with care, and keep improving their work until it is something they are proud to stand behind.

That shows up as:

Clear and structured communication

Low ego and a collaborative mindset

Following through on what you start

Paying attention to the details that matter for the product

How the hiring process works

We keep the process focused and efficient. You will not go through long interview loops - only the steps needed to understand how you work and whether it is a match.

The process is a two-way conversation. We assess how you approach problems, communicate your thinking, and work with others. At the same time, you gain a clear understanding of how we build products and work together, so you can decide if Framna is the right fit.

Our process typically includes:

Screening call

The process starts with a conversation with our People & Culture team. We go through your background, experience, and what you are looking for next. You will also get a clear overview of the role, the team, and how we work across our studios.

Hiring manager interview (for some roles)

For some roles, you will meet the hiring manager early in the process. This conversation focuses on your experience and how you approach your work. We go deeper into the role, expectations, and how your background relates to the team and the product.

Role-specific assessment (assignment or case, depending on the role)

Depending on the role, the next step varies: Product, design, and engineering roles include a take-home assignment. Commercial and People roles typically involve interviews or case-based discussions. For technical roles, we recommend spending no more than eight hours on the assignment. For design and other creative roles, you will typically have up to one week to prepare. The assignment reflects the type of work you would do at Framna. We look at how you approach the problem, how you structure your thinking, and how you arrive at your solution.

Follow-up interview

After you complete an assignment or case, you will walk us through your work. You will typically meet two colleagues, and the conversation lasts around one hour. We focus on how you explain your decisions, how you handle feedback, and how you reason through trade-offs.When possible, we hold this conversation in our studio. This gives you a chance to see how we work in practice.

Team lead interview

You will meet two team leads, one of whom is your potential manager. The conversation focuses on how we work together: communication, expectations, and how you collaborate in a team setting. It is also an opportunity to understand how work is organized within the team and how you would fit into it. The conversation is informal in tone, but it plays an important role. Strong digital products are built on strong collaboration, and this is where we begin to understand what that could look like together.

In some cases, the order may vary depending on the role.

Feedback and next steps

If you move forward in the process with us but are not selected this time, you will receive clear and constructive feedback.

We believe in continuous improvement - refining how we work and raising the bar over time. Our goal is to give you useful, honest insights you can build on, with clear examples of where you did well and where you can improve.

Sometimes the timing is not right the first time. What matters is how you keep improving your craft and raising your standards. If there is a strong potential fit, we are always open to continuing the conversation.
