The onboarding journey at Framna Netherlands
Starting a new role
Should feel clear, supported, and well organized. At Framna Netherlands, onboarding is not a single meeting or checklist. It is a structured journey that starts before day one and continues throughout your first months with the team. Our onboarding process typically spans the first 90 days, combining practical setup, team integration, feedback moments, and space to gradually take ownership of your work.
Before day one
Preparation matters.
Before you start, we make sure your laptop, accounts, and access are ready to go. We also plan the key kickoffs and introductions ahead of time, so your first weeks feel structured and easy to navigate.
Your new team is informed before you join, including your role and start date, helping everyone arrive prepared from day one.
We also assign a buddy within the team. This person helps you find your footing, from daily routines and tools to the practical details that make a new environment feel familiar more quickly.
Your first day at Framna
On your first day, you’ll be welcomed at the studio by our Recruitment team.
You’ll start with an introduction to Framna Netherlands, followed by a series of kickoff meetings with different teams and disciplines across the studio.
We’ll also walk you through your onboarding plan, including the people, processes, and tools that will help you settle into your role.
The first weeks
The first weeks are about learning how we work together.
There’s a lot to absorb in a new role: new people, new expectations, new ways of collaborating. Our goal is to make that process feel structured without becoming overwhelming.
We create space to settle in while also helping you understand the routines, standards, and ways of working that shape our teams and products.
Because strong onboarding is not about speed. It is about building confidence and clarity over time.
Check-ins and feedback
Regular check-ins are an important part of the onboarding process.
Together with your Team Lead, we schedule moments to reflect on how things are going, what feels clear, and where additional support may help.
These conversations help us:
Understand what is working well
Identify challenges early
Align expectations
Support your growth and development
Feedback works both ways. We encourage new colleagues to openly share their experiences, observations, and ideas from the start.
Growing into the role
Over time, onboarding shifts from guidance to ownership.
As you become more familiar with the team, tools, and product landscape, you’ll gradually take on more responsibility and autonomy in your work.
At Framna, ownership also means caring deeply about quality, collaboration, and the impact of what we build together. We believe the best work happens when people feel trusted, supported, and comfortable challenging ideas openly.
The goal after your first 90 days is simple: feeling confident in your role, connected to your team, and clear on how to move forward.
